The project belongs to the framework initiatives concerning the redevelopment of some Milan suburban areas. The Pareto Campus of Milan Polytechnical University stands in the area previously occupied by a derelict primary school building which was then demolished and the land reclaimed.
The aesthetic appearance is minimal and rigorous. Neutral colors make the facades soar skyward with unaligned vertical windows spacing out.
The entire housing estate is located in a remarkably large green area with a private garden that students can use, and a new public garden managed in collaboration with the Municipality.
The new student hall is composed of two buildings, a lower facility and a tower building housing around 230 student accommodations. They connect through the ground floor, where we find welcome areas and common services.
